   Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 14,2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday July 14th beginning at 12 Noon until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.    Mrs. Fields, age 73, of Charlotte, TN died peacefully July 9, 2021 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN.

   Survivors include her five children;, April Murphy and her husband, Jimmy of Charlotte, TN, James Chalifour (Shelly) of Dickson, TN, Audrey Dile of Charlotte, TN, Jennifer Landais and her husband Nicolas of Hendersonville, NC, and Jeremy Chalifour (Jen) of Charlotte, TN, her half- sister; Annette Shultz of MI, her step sisters; Mary Jane Lawrence and Marlene Baker both of MI, her six grandchildren; Morgan Murphy, Justin Anderson, Victoria “Tori” Conquest, Micah Dile and Madison Murphy and Dillon Eggleston. her three great grandchildren; Leslie Conquest, Anniston Murphy and Braelyn Holmes.

   Sue was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1947 to Cecil Donegan and Edyth Hicks. She went to school in Michigan. She married Jack Chalifour and after having three children, they moved to Dickson, Tennessee, back to her roots where she had two more children.

  Sue was a dedicated mother who taught her children the love of God and Christian values. She continued her faith throughout her life and shared it with others as a volunteer in the community out of love for neighbors. She had a keen interest in deep studies of the Bible and understanding it's message.

 She was a good cook and very hospitable insisting on feeding all who came to visit whether they were hungry or not. She also had a passion for scrapbooking and sewing, making things for others out of a generous heart. She was an avid movie watcher. She took pride in a clean and inviting home with beautiful surroundings. She appreciated nature with mountainous views, flowers and waterfalls.

  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and later on greatgrandchildren. She was fun-loving and enjoyed a good laugh. She will be truly missed by so many.
