Rhiannon “Rainey” Alexis Garton, age 18 of McEwen, TN died on July 11, 2021 at home after a lengthy illness of spinocerebellar ataxia. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the National Ataxia Foundation (ataxia.org) or to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital (lebonheur.org).
Rainey was born December 12, 2002 in Nashville, TN. This strong and beautiful young lady touched so many lives. She had a love for music and ballet, she loved to dance and cheerleading. She was preceded in death by her father, Joshua Johnson.
She is survived by her parents, Rebekah Garton and Matt Vrba; her sister, Daniella Lorin Garton; 2 brothers, Jeffrey Gage Garton, and Waylon Shane Garton; her grandparents, Jeffrey Lynn Garton and Jeane Garton, Glenda Fielder, Mark Woodie, Bill and Deborah Wofford; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
