 Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 23,2021 at 12 Noon from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Doug Greer will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday evening, August 22,2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Military honors will be observed at the cemetery.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Mr. Lampley, of Kingston Springs, TN died peacefully August 19,2021 at the Barton House.

A native of Williamson County, he was the son of the late Alex Horace and Thelma Catherine Kerr Lampley. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl Lampley, Bobby Lampley and Billy Lampley.  He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Carrie Sue Douglas Lampley.

Mr. Lampley was a forklift and crane operator and worked with Ford Glass Plant for 37 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Burns Baptist Church.

Survivors include his two children; Suzanne Appleton and her husband Jeff of Pegram, TN and Donnie Lampley of Kingston Springs, TN. His grandchildren; Carrie Paschall, Catherine Olson, Carson Lampley, Anna Daley, his great grandchildren; Drake Hamilton, Grant Olson, George Olson, Bristol Paschall and Rayleigh Holt.
