Billy Steven Johnson, age 79 of Dickson, died Monday, August 23, 2021 at Horizon Medical Center. He will be cremated, and no local services are planned. His ashes will be interred at a later date in Parkdale Cemetery in Parkdale, Arkansas.
Because of his love of animals, especially cats, memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Dickson County.
Born in Parkdale, Arkansas, Billy was the son of the late Syble Lee Myers Johnson (Lloyd) and the late Carl Johnson. He enjoyed motorcycles, motorcycle racing and made his living as a motorcycle mechanic. He loved animals, especially dogs and cats.
Survivors include his sister, Betty Scroggins, Arkansas; three grandsons, Bradley Johnson, Brian Johnson, and Ben Johnson; and his two beloved cats, Archie and Macie.
