Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will also be on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
Ida Frances Wiggins Hopkins, age 91 of San Antonio, Florida – formerly of Kingston Springs, TN – passed from this life on November 22, 2021, at Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born on January 19, 1930, in Marshall County, TN to the late Clarence W. and Maple Freeman Wiggins. A longtime resident of Kingston Springs, until moving to Florida in 2012 to be close to family after the death of her late husband, Frank. She was a member of the Kingston Springs Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband: Frank “Hop” Hopkins; her daughter: Cheryl Trainor and her husband Scott; and her siblings: James, Harold, Wilburn, and Wilene Wiggins.
Survivors include her daughter: Cathy Massey (Tommy); five grandchildren: Melissa Trainor, Shelly Trainor Smith (Matt), Marcus Massey (Erin), Megan Trainor Gensman, and Shannon Massey Hoeffler (Ian); and seven great-grandchildren: Samantha, Logan, Benjamin, Gracie, William, Jambi, and Jack.
