She was the daughter of the late Jasper O. “Bo” McEwen and Mary Estelle Reed McEwen. She was a graduate of Dickson High School, Class of 1954. After her children were grown, she attended Austin Peay State University for 2 years. She loved learning, reading, gardening and traveling.
