A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home with friends and family speaking. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Dennis was born July 12, 1982 in Dickson, TN. He was a graduate of Dickson County High School, class of 2001. Dennis joined in marriage Jessica Leigh Tatum on September 28, 2012. He was a former fireman with the Burns Fire Dept. and was a member of the Dickson County Rescue Squad. He was later employed as an electrical maintenance technician with the Dal Tile Quartz Plant. Mr. Black was an avid outdoorsman, he loved everything about hunting and fishing. He was an amazing husband, father, brother and friend.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Leigh Black; his parents, Donna Vineyard (Steve), and Dennis Black (Linda); his children, Drew Myatt, Dylan Myatt, and Cheyanne Leigh Black; grandson, Kyler Jacob Myatt; his siblings, Kimberly Mosley, Ryan Black, Gregory Fisher (Kayla), Christopher Vineyard, and Keala Vineyard. Also surviving are his grandparents, Jean Dotson, and O’Neal and Rita Vineyard, as well as many other relatives and friends.
