Brad passed away December 19, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his spouse, Dusty Payne; his brother, Tommy Murrell; step-sister, Tammy and her husband Carl Tidwell; step-sister, Melody and her husband, John Snow; step-brother, Dillard Lewis; step-brother, Ricky and his wife Andrea Lampley; and step-brother, David and his wife Dana Lampley. Also, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special Aunt Pat and Aunt June.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Lampley; step-father, William Lampley; father, Clark Murrell; and step-mother, Patricia Murrell.

Brad was one of a kind. He was loving, caring, and loved by everyone that knew him. He was the most positive and outgoing person you could ever meet. He would always say, “I don’t do negativity; life is too short.”

Brad worked at Jim Marvin Enterprises right out of high school for a few years. He would always say Jim and Faye were his second parents. He later moved to Dallas, Texas in 2000. He was offered a job at Arty Imports and worked there until they closed for business. In his latest career change, he started as a showroom manager during this past year for Autograph Foliage’s. They had such wonderful things to say about Brad’s dedication to his job, and they were deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Brad was also a member of Grand Avenue Presbyterian Church in Sherman, Texas.

Brad loved entertaining, traveling, country music, fishing, boating, and sports.  Dallas Cowboys became his team, which was where he was at prior to his passing.  He was a huge fan of Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire. He also got to meet Pam Tillis at her concert in Dallas.  In his careers, he talked about the famous people he met and actually got to work with some of them.  In his most recent traveling, he was so excited that he got the chance to see Reba at her November show in Oklahoma. When he was boating, he loved being out on Lake Texoma and all that it had to offer. He said that was his “Happy Place.”  He had the time of his life with his friends and family.

As a kid, he always said he was going to live in a big city, and he did just that. When he set his mind on a goal, he did it.
