Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2021 at 12:00 Noon with Bro. Larry Tarkington officiating. Place of rest will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Nephews and friends will serve as pall bearers.
Mrs. Irene Warren Ross, age 91 of Bon Aqua, TN died on December 31, 2021. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Willow Springs Cemetery Fund.
Mrs. Irene was the last remaining sibling born to James and Arminta Warren. She loved her family and was a proud member of the Warren family. Irene had worked as a machine operator for Red Kap Industries. She attended the Willow Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Hickman County. She enjoyed gardening, putting up vegetables, and planting flowers with her son, Tommy.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles W. Curtis, Lee Buttrey, and Charles Ross (all of whom she took care of in their final days). She was also preceded by her children, Debra Gay Curtis, and Gerald Michael Curtis; her parents, James Albert and Arminta Martin Warren; brothers, Hollis, Wallace, Doris, Gene, Lummy, Clebert, Carter and Hillard Warren; sisters, Katie Lee Poteete, and Mary Tom Jackson.
She is survived by her children, Regina Kay Quinn (Randy) and Charles Thomas Curtis; grandchildren, Laura Rene Goff, Carl Neal Quinn, and Charles Matthew Curtis. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
