Homer Allen Stockman, Jr. also known by family and friends as Junior, age 76 of Vanleer, TN died suddenly January 19, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Dickson County, son of the late Homer Allen, Sr. and Lovenia Smith Stockman. He worked with his family in the former Kuzin Karl’s Kountry Kitchen, one of the first restaurants on I-40 at the Dickson exit. They operated the restaurant for over 35 years serving Dickson and surrounding counties and all the travelers along interstate 40. Over the years Junior was an insurance salesman and loved spending time fishing for bass. He was preceded in death by his sister Erlene Stockman Robertson.
Junior was somewhat of a character. Always quick witted and never met a strange person. He loved life and seized every moment that came his way.
Junior is survived by his sons; Darryl Stockman and his wife, Dinah, and Landon Stockman and his wife, Amanda, his four grandsons; Rett, Rob, Cannon and Case Stockman and his fiancée Mary Richardson.
