Johnnie Luke Anderson, age 82, of Dickson, TN passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
She was born July 19, 1939 in Dickson, TN to the late John Jacob Luke and Emma Lewis Cornwell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Luke, and a sister, Jean Luke Vandiver.
Johnnie attended Dickson High School and graduated nursing school as an LPN in December 1965. She worked at Bell & Crosby Clinic and Goodlark Medical Center. She worked most of her nursing career with the late Dr. Walter Bell Jr., then with other physicians over the years until she worked part-time as an industrial nurse at Masonite until her retirement, totaling 54 years of nursing.
Johnnie loved reading, playing Mahjong, watching her favorite TV shows, & caring for her fur baby Bailey.
Survivors include daughters Lori Talbot Wooten of Dickson, TN and Christine Brown Powell (Michael) of Vanleer, TN; grandchildren include Tara Wooten Fifth (Jeremy) of Dickson, TN and Kristen Powell of Vanleer, TN; great-grandchildren include Payton Fifth, James Fifth, Lucas Fifth, Piper Fifth, Jackson Fifth, and Pacey Fifth; a sister, Gail Luke Berube; and many nieces and nephews that she also loved dearly.
