     Funeral services will be Monday January 31, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday January 31st from 1 PM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund http://www.vvmf.org/rotn/


     William H. “Sonny” Hall, age 90 of Dickson, TN passed away Sunday January 23, 2022. Born in White Bluff, TN he was the son of the late Leasy Harris and Vivian Estelle Gentry Hall and was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Jean Hall and grandson, Christopher Ray Potter. Sonny retired from the U.S. Army with 24 years of service. After retiring from the Army, he worked for 30 years as a Contractor building Residential and Commercial. He was the first to build Office Condominiums in Dickson County. Sonny was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 950 where he served as the Vice President and the American Legion Post 115. He was a member of the Dickson First Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ruth Fowlkes Hall of Dickson, TN; children, Donna Crafton of Dickson, TN, Shelia Hall of Dickson, TN, Vona Dean of Dickson, TN, Brenda Golden of Austin, TX, William H. Hall II (Elizabeth) of Huntsville, AL; 9 grandchildren, Justin Crafton, Heather Beneclif (Chris), Weston Hall, Elizabeth Redden, Tyler Redden (Jessica), Solomon Golden, William Leasy Hall (Jessica), Nicholas Hall, Houston Jones; 7 great grandchildren, Selena Crafton, Brody Beneclif, Aiden Redden, Dalton Redden, Noah Redden, Carson Redden, Chandler Redden.
