James Larry Snow, 67, of Dickson TN passed away on Feb 2, 2022. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, J. Leo Snow and Elois White Snow. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Porter Snow, his daughter Beth Hale (Neil) of Brentwood, TN, his son Colby Snow (Kristina) of Salt Lake City, UT, his brother Randy Snow (Angie) of Murfreesboro, TN and 5 grandchildren, Jagger, Porter Rose and Rivers Hale, KaceyJane and Tamzin Snow.

Larry was born in Chattanooga, TN on March 3, 1954. He attended David Lipscomb in Nashville from first grade through college. He excelled in sports during childhood, high school, college and beyond. Larry left Business/Marketing to pursue his true passion…ministry. He had first preached at Philippi Church of Christ in Smithville, TN while in college. In 1993 he became the full-time Minister of Involvement and Education at Hendersonville Church of Christ. He was the Involvement Minister at Walnut Street Church of Christ until June 2021 when he left to focus on StudyJesus.com, a Bible study website he co-founded.

His joy in life was traveling with Susan, spending time with his children, Beth and Colby, and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed boating and spending time at the cabin. Larry had a wonderful life with a focus on family, friends and most importantly, sharing Jesus Christ with others.

Active Casket Bearers will be Colby Snow, Randy Snow, Hunter Snow, Neil and Jagger Hale, Steve Hampton and Richard Hudson. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Tyner, The Shepherds at Walnut Street Church of Christ, and nephews.

If desired, a memorial may be made in honor of Larry Snow to StudyJesus.com.
