     Funeral services will be Friday April 1, 2022 at 12 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating. Place of rest will be in the Parker-Fowlkes Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday April 1st from 10 AM until time of service.
     Jeretza Lee (Jay) Hitchcock-Watts received her angel wings on Saturday, March 26, just one week shy of her 60th birthday. She was met in Heaven by her mother and best friend JoAnne Gilbert; aunts, Tiny' Wheat and Georgia Daniel; uncles, Sammy and Dave Roberts; grandparents, Dave & Hester Roberts; and cousin, Michael Roberts.
In the 6th grade, Jay began taking piano lessons at Mary's Music in Dickson. She was such a dedicated and gifted student that she received a full scholarship to the prestigious Blair Academy in Nashville. Jay spent most of her life in TN and settled in Dickson where she devoted her life to caring for her disabled son Kenny and other children whom she loved with all of her heart.
     She is survived by her husband Kenneth Watts; two sons Kenneth (Little Kenny) and Jeremy Watts; daughter Celeste Watts; fathers, Larry Gilbert and Stan Hitchcock; brother, Stan Hitchcock, Jr; sisters Marilyn Holland, Lori and Joli Hitchcock, Brittney and Amy Gilbert. 3 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of chosen family and lifelong friends.
