A graveside service will take place on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery located in Clay County, TN.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson, TN.

For those desiring, Memorials are suggested to the Alive Hospice of Nashville or the Mt. Vernon Cemetery Fund.

Mrs. Jean Browning Moore, age 89, of Dickson, passed from this life on July 18, 2022, at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville. Born in Clay County on October 5, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Madge Browning Bean. She was a member of the Pomona Church of Christ in Dickson.

In her earlier years, Jean worked for H.I.S. and Red Kap and later in life she became a full-time caregiver and CNA for Olive Branch Senior Living and also in the private sector. She later volunteered for Olive Branch after her retirement. Mrs. Moore thoroughly enjoyed sewing and working in her garden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husbands: Ervin H. Browning and Thomas Moore; her brothers: Charles Bean, Malcolm Bean, Fay Bean, and Darrell Bean; and her sisters: Nina Burgess Flatt, and Berneice Holden.

Survivors include her daughters: Carolyn Brunett (Dennis) of Burns, TN, Joan Vineyard (Del) of Dickson, TN, and Delores Browning of Tennessee Ridge, TN; her siblings: Reed Bean and Roselene Bean, both of Oak Forest, Illinois; her grandchildren: Mary Ellen Ferebee (James), Lori DeMoss (Jim), David Brunett (Melanie), and John Brunett (Beth); and her great-grandchildren: Cooper Ferebee, Libby DeMoss, Madison Brunett, Leah DeMoss, and Ryann Brunett.
