Frances Angela Gulino Davidson, age 72 of Dickson, TN passed away Monday July 18, 2022. Her wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, to the late Frank and Elsie Demeter Gulino. Her Father was a union electrician (IBEW local 673) and mother was a homemaker.  They raised six children including Fran. They lived close to Lake Erie enjoying mild summers, and punishing cold snowy winters.  Frances attended grade school at Our Mother of Sorrows Elementary then graduated from St. John High School.  After graduation she moved to Washington D.C. to work for the F.B.I. She met and married Randy Davidson then moved to his home in Vanleer, Tennessee.

She raised her two sons Ted and Nick Davidson.  Frances loved to bake cakes and make homemade crafts for fun.  Randy worked in the building trades and Frances was an executive secretary for a local Dickson, Tennessee church insurer General Insurance Underwriters.  Frances was active in church and groups that helped folks in crisis.  Frances retired from work and travelled with her husband nationwide building truck terminals.  Her children and grandchildren would visit at the many job site locations on vacations and holidays.  Dementia stole her memories but she lives on in ours.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Randy “Buck” Davidson; her sisters, Katie Haapala and Laurie Gulino; her brothers-in-law, Tom Ungeheier and Joe Boucher.

Survivors include her sons, Ted Davidson (Kristi) of Dickson, TN, Nick Davidson of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Frank Gulino; sisters, Judy Ungeheier, Lisa Boucher; brothers-in-law, George Haapala, Don Davidson (Martha), Phil Davidson (Sheila); grandchildren, Kati Walker, Kaleb Robertson, Lana Davidson; several nieces and nephews.
