Mr. Douglas Firmanty age 63 of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday July 28, 2022 in Detroit, Michigan. Funeral Services will be Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 11am from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Firmanty will be buried at Middle Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2pm till 8pm and Wednesday from 10am till service time.
He was born January 29, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to Mrs. Dorothy Kuehn and Mr. Walter Firmanty. Mr. Firmanty was in the United States Army he also was in the transportation industry as an over the road Truck Driver. He was particularly fond of Tennessee and that is what made him decide to buy land in Tennessee.
He had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his group of friends.
Douglas is survived by his siblings; Kenneth “Ken” Firmanty (Gary), Karen Sienkiewicz (Dennis), and Donna Jones (Roger), nephew; Nick, and niece; Rachel, along with a host of friends.
