Janet Conatser Windrow, age 87, of Kingston Springs, passed away on August 24, 2022, at Green Hills Health and Rehab in Nashville.
She was born on May 14, 1935, in Fentress County, TN, to the late Roy Roosevelt and Mary Parks Conatser. Janet spent the majority of her life (since 1968) a resident of Kingston Springs. She had worked for several years as a legal secretary. Ms. Windrow was a patient mother, a loving grandmother, and a devoted sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas B. Windrow; and her siblings: Danny Conatser, Jimmy Conatser, and Richard Conatser.
Survivors include her sons: David Windrow (Tracey) of Nolensville and Rick Windrow (Sandy) of Cookeville; her daughters: Nancy Windrow of Kingston Springs and Sara Anderson (Bruce) of Nashville; her brothers: Gary Conatser of Jamestown, TN, Roy Conatser, Jr. of Crossville, TN and Larry Conatser of Monterey, TN; her grandchildren: Brent Windrow (Ali), Courtney Sons (Ryan), Brett Windrow, Derek Windrow, Kirk Windrow, Hunter Anderson, and Brad Anderson; one great-grandchild: Ezra Sons; and her beloved family friend: Sandra Greenwell.
Visitation only with the family will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
