Mary Lillian Williams Johnson

Funeral services will be Saturday September 3, 2022 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Southerland officiating. Place of rest will be in the Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday September 2nd from 4 to 8 PM and Saturday 11 AM until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to Water Street Church of Christ or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Mary Lillian Williams Johnson age 78, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022 at NHC surrounded by loved ones. Mary was born October 13, 1943 in Nashville, TN to the late James Henry (Red) and Emma Frances Sweatt Williams. She married the love of her life at the age of 18 years old to the late Harold (Tommy) Thomas Johnson on December 27, 1962. The other loves of her life were her 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She worked for Horace Small Apparel in Nashville, TN as a customer service representative.
Mary can be remembered for her sweet smile and friendly disposition. She was an amazing singer and enjoyed reading, attending church services, cooking, making flower arrangements, bird watching and spending as much time as possible with her family.
She is survived by her 4 children, Dr. Richard (Ricky) and Kim Johnson, Hal and Gina Johnson, Scott and Moty Johnson and Tonya and Gabe Peer, her brother James Monroe and Julia Williams, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
