Mrs. Louise Jones Jacobson, age 90 of Clarksville, TN formerly of Chicago, IL died on September 8, 2022 at the Tennova Healthcare Center in Clarksville, TN.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Jacobson was born April 16, 1932 in Dickson County. She was a daughter of the late Charlie Everett Jones and Evie Bell Parker Jones. She retired from Chicago Lock with 30 years of service. Louise enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. She was always eager to participate in outings and shopping trips with her “golden girl” friends. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Jacobson is preceded in death by her husband, Louie E. Jacobson; her son, Theodore “Ted” Jacobson; her brothers, Vernon Jones, John Jones, Billy Jones, and Jessie Jones; her sister, Peggy Jones; brothers-in-law, Donald Clark, and Jack Nolen.
Louise is survived by her children, Larry Jacobson (Connie) of Cumberland Furnace, TN, Judy Jackson (Scott) of Clarksville, TN, and Evie Roxanne Vicari (Mark) of Roselle, IL; her brother, Calvin O’Neal Jones (Nancy) of NY; her sisters, Wilma Clark of Charlotte, TN, and Betty Sue Nolen of Vanleer, TN; her grandchildren, Charles Jacobson, Joseph Jacobson, Laura Koster, Erik Jacobson, Christopher Jacobson, Stefanie Jacobson, Stacey Caraway, Adam Caraway, Brandie Armento, Mark L. Vicari. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Gladys Jones; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
