Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. James Parham officiating. Burial will follow in the Tidwell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, September 13, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, also at the funeral home.
Mr. Roosevelt “Nig” Wright, age 87, of Lyles, TN, passed away on September 11, 2022, at NHC of Dickson. He was born in Hickman County, TN, on November 2, 1934, to the late Andy and Arles Cude Wright.
Mr. Wright was a long-time member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Bon Aqua. He was retired as a logger, which was a career that spanned most of his life. He also loved to watch his westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife: Margaret Wright, of Lyles, TN; his daughter: Vickie Ducharme (Chris) of Bon Aqua; his sons: Ronald Wright (Melinda) and Donald Wright (Lisa), both of Burns; his grandchildren: Brooks Franceschini (Jeremy), Rhonda Booker (Jerry), and Sydnie Ducharme; and two great-grandchildren: Mason Booker and Brady Franceschini.
