A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the White Bluff Church of Christ with Bro. Doug Couch officiating. Visitation will be held at the White Bluff Church of Christ on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Following the service, David will be cremated and placed at rest in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
David Alan Osborne, age 49 of White Bluff, TN died at home on September 24, 2022. For those desiring, memorials may be made to Camp Leatherwood, which was David’s happy place.
David was born July 8, 1973 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a 1993 graduate of Dickson County Senior High School. David has been employed with The Golf Club of Tennessee, Montgomery Bell State Park, and Kroger. David loved driving his truck and being independent. He attended services at the White Bluff Church of Christ and was willing to lead hymns on occasion. David enjoyed bowling and visiting Camp Leatherwood. His strength and willingness to help others at camp, resulted in David obtaining the nickname “Big Dave”.
David loved his family and is survived by his parents, Larry and Janet Osborne of White Bluff, TN; his brother, Jeremy Daniel Osborne (Tammy) of White Bluff, TN; his sisters, Katie Grace Osborne Vermilyea (Josh) of Sylvia, TN and Rachel Leanne Osborne Otieno (Charles) of Memphis, TN; 8 nephews, Nicholas, Elijah, Blake, Skylar, Charlie, John David, Benjamin, and Eli. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
