A funeral service will be held at the Five Points Church of Christ at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 with Minister Mickey Mathis officiating. Place of rest will be in the Parker Fowlkes Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the Five Points Church of Christ on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Mr. Needham Willard Welch, age 90 of Bon Aqua, TN died at home with family by his side during the early hours of Sunday, October 23, 2022. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Five Points Church of Christ.
Mr. Welch was born on September 10, 1932 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Clarence “Buck” Welch and Bessie Dee Flowers Welch. He was a Veteran having served Honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid hunter for most of his life. From his youth until recently he owned and rode horses. He retired from State Industries with 38 years of employment. He was a faithful member of Five Points Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his niece, Cassie Crump.
Mr. Needham Welch is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dorothy Buchanan Welch; his three sons, Mike Welch (Wanda), Ricky Welch (Carolyn), and Barry Welch (Tabatha); his sister, Myra Crump (Paul); 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
