Sandra was born in Memphis, TN, to Pete and Sara (Parks) Blackwell on May 24, 1958.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Harold Kirkman of Waverly, TN, son Robert Blackwell of Canton, SD, daughter Brandy Kirkman of Nashville, TN, son Fred Kirkman of Waverly, TN, son Allen (Samantha) Kirkman of Dickson, TN, 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Sara Leigh Roberts, Mary Burgess, Barbara Blackwell, Frances Blackwell, Julia Johnson, Donna Gray, Christopher Walsh, Ivan Blackwell, and their families. She is preceded in death by her father Pete, mother Sara, and sister LaTeresa.
