Ronald Lee Jones, Jr., age 54 of Charlotte, TN died unexpectedly on January 2, 2023. Visitation with family and friends will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service and burial will be held privately at a later date.
Lee was born on September 14, 1968 in Nashville, TN. He was a good hearted, kind and giving guy that deeply loved his family and friends. Lee was a simple man, a talented and skilled cabinet maker by trade. He and his Dad created beautiful living spaces for many clients over the years including artists in the country music industry. Some of Lee's custom work was even featured in Country Living Magazine (2015).
Lee never met a stranger and there was never a dull moment when you were around him. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He loved his pups more than anything. Wherever Lee went, his pups were always along for the ride. Lee enjoyed playing horseshoes and was always up for a friendly card game with friends.
He is survived by his father, Ronald Lee Jones, Sr. (Carol) of Waverly, TN; his mother, Shirley Jean McKinney Beem (Roger) of Big Sandy, TN; his siblings, Tracy Lyles, Kelly Manning, Seth Lyles, and Wesley Dutton; daughter; Kelsey Shelton (Sam) of Charlotte, TN, son; Dalton Jones (Cassidy) of Vanleer, TN; grandchildren; Cole Shelton, Christopher Jones and several friends and other family.
He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Hardy Bell Jones and Mabel Claire Rice Jones, Maternal Grandparents Agnes Sullivan and Jay McKinney, his Aunt Betty Sue Crockett and his beloved dog Otis.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Jones, Seth Lyles, Neil Manning, Wesley Dutton, Adam Howell and Howie Wood
For those desiring, Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Dickson in Lee's honor.
