Christine was born on December 7, 1927 in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter of the late Joe Harley Luther and Hazel McCoy Luther. For many years, she was the head of accounting for the Bill Hudson & Associates, as well as having served on their board of directors. To those that knew her, she was a truly loyal friend. She enjoyed watching sports, reading and playing golf. She especially loved her family. Christine attended church at the Bellevue Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Mannings Bowman, and her sister, Ruth Mingle.
Christine is survived by her son, Bruce Bowman and his wife, Debbie of Franklin, TN; her daughter, Bonita Sweet of Lebanon, TN; her brother, Joe Luther of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Rachael Scott, and Christel Womack; and three great grandchildren, Bennett Bowman Floyd, Connor Durham Floyd, and Alexis Marie Floyd.
