Billy Frank “Bill” Sharp, age 76, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN. He was born November 28, 1946, in Edinburg, MS.
Billy retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation where he served as treasurer.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Ellen Cholost Sharp; Siblings: Doris Arlene Sharp, Charles Dwayne (Julie) Sharp, Donald Lee (Sherri) Sharp, Tammie S. (Beal) Howell, and Laura Kay (Jeff) Moore; Numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter Tricia Ellen Sharp and parents William Franklin Sharp and Juliet Bertelle Coghlan Sharp
A family-only private graveside service will be held at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, Georgia.
