Funeral services for Nina Jo McKleroy Winters, age 82 of Bon Aqua, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Paul McGahey and Bro. Dennis Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Moss Cemetery in Bon Aqua. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Winters died Thursday, March 23, 2023 at her home.
Born in Anniston, Alabama, Nina Jo was the daughter of the late Jesse Harold and Cleo Sybil Davis McKleroy. She was a member of the Craigfield Church of Christ and she loved her family very much. She enjoyed baking cakes for all occasions and she was an excellent seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother, James McKleroy and by a grandson, Donald Crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Eugene Winters, Bon Aqua; her children, Cliff Winters (Tami), Hermitage, TN, Donna Kabler (Don), Bon Aqua, Russell Winters (Patricia), Thompson Station, TN, and Carol Jane Rogers (Gary), Bon Aqua; her siblings, Judy Willingham, Oxford, AL, Jerre McKleroy (Kathy), Jacksonville, AL, Jane Parker (Terry), Oxford, AL, and Mac McKleroy, Decatur, GA; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
