Graveside services will be Saturday April 22, 2022 at 12 PM at Union Cemetery. Following the graveside the family will have a reception at the Pond Presbyterian Church at 1 PM.
Noel Wayne Porter, age 78 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg. He was a native of the Pond Community in Dickson, TN. He retired from Johnson Motors and was a member the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Porter served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Rhodes and Ruby McLerran Porter; his wife, Patricia Freeman Porter; two brothers, Donald Porter and Richard Porter; and two sisters, Linda Beard and Glenda Porter.

He is survived by one daughter, Candace Jean Barker of Lawrenceburg, TN; two granddaughters, Rachael Serrett of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Dylana Hurley-Elrod of Chattanooga, TN; one great-grandchild, Rowan Serrett.
