Funeral services for Kenneth Walker will begin at 12 noon Monday, April 24, 2023, from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Aaron Terlecki officiating.  Interment, with military honors, will follow in the Walker Cemetery, 1514 Bakers Work Rd, Burns, TN.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.  For those desiring, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

Kenneth R. Walker, age 90 of White Bluff, passed away quietly at his residence on Thursday, April 20, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.  He was born March 30, 1933 in the Blanche community of Lincoln County, Tennessee.  He was a veteran and served two years in Germany with the U. S. Army, serving his country proudly.  He was a member of Burns Baptist Church.  Kenneth was raised in the cotton fields of south Tennessee and northern Alabama.  After marrying the love of his life, he moved the family to Nashville, Tennessee and found employment at the Ford Glass Plant, and retired after 33 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Myrtle Walker; by his sisters, JoNell Campbell and Melba Cross; and by a great-grandson, Paxton Walker.

He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Martha Walker of White Bluff; sons, Kenny (Stephanie) of Burns, Micky (Connie) of Dickson, and Rick (Sue) of Clarksville; sister, Faye Weece of Ardmore, AL; grandchildren, Roe Walker (Jamie) of Dickson, Cory Walker (Page) of Charlotte, Mitchell Walker (Taylor) of Clarksville; and Nick of Cleveland, OH, Darryl (Lauren) Gibbs of Burns, Samantha (Brad) Davis of Burns, and Stacey Spicer of Burns; great-grandchildren, Colton Walker, Kayden Walker, Kannon Walker, Amberlea Gibbs, Landon Gibbs, Isabella Gibbs, Hailey Gibbs, and Walker Davis.

The Walker family would like to thank our caregivers Tammy and Brooke for going above and beyond in making Dad’s journey an easy one.
