A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Milton officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in White Bluff. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Dennis Wade Dawson, age 70 of Charlotte, passed from this life on November 22, 2024, at NHC of Dickson. He was born in Dickson County, on July 20, 1954, to the late John Soloman “Junior” Dawson and Zola Louise Aulidge. He worked as a truck driver for many years for Aulidge Timber and Nashville Ready Mix.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his daughters: Mandy Hagood (Dusty) of Ashland City, Angela Hill (David) of Bellevue, and Melissa Combs (Josh) of White Bluff; his special friend: Jean Cathey; his siblings: Jewel Dean Luther, and Douglas Ray Dawson (Vicky), both of Dickson, Marshall Dawson (Frances) of Fairview and Wanda Fay Deason of White Bluff; his grandchildren: CJ Fields (Morgan), Rebecca Johnson (Clay), Bailey Rynor, Carson Rynor and Hunter Woodard; four great-grandchildren, his dog “Meme” and several nieces and nephews.
