A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the East Hickman Community Center in Lyles, TN. If you knew and loved Cindy, please know that she cherished you just as much. We invite you to join us in honoring her beautiful life and sharing in the love she spread to everyone around her.

Cynthia Lee Stevens Trombley of Lyles, TN, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Born in Wyandotte, MI, on February 16, 1957, she grew up in Hersey/Reed City, MI, and Pinewood/Fairview, TN, ultimately settling in Lyles in October 2000 to be closer to her parents.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, C.R. & Barbara Stevens; sisters, Shellie Stevens and Candace Stevens; and her brother-in-law, Gary Garvon. She is survived by her children: Ron (Julie) Trombley, Jessa Trombley, Rachel Mom, and D’Anna (Nick) Ventrella; nine grandchildren: Eric, Alexis, Rylee, Ayden, Logan, Kingston, Princeton, Duke and Dexter; siblings: Michele (Ted) Kinnane, Wendy Garvon, and John Stevens; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her horse, Sundance.

Cindy poured her heart into every job throughout her life, working with great dedication at Steig Trucking, Star Truck Rentals, Dean Foods, Boot Country, Home Depot, Backyard Burgers, and ultimately with the Band of Angels; where she truly shone as a guardian angel for those she served, creating meaningful connections and friendships with everyone she met.

A devoted friend to so many, Cindy’s heart was vast and encompassing. She treasured the friendships she formed, treating each person like family and always being there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She was always the first one to be there for others and reach out to those in need. No matter how big or small she would be there, no questions asked and she would give and help in any way she could. Her deep faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life, guiding her through everything she did.

Cindy’s passion for horses blossomed early in her life and remained close to her heart. She loved embarking on adventures with Sundance, exploring the beauty of nature and enjoying the tranquility of God’s creation. Those moments spent outdoors brought her immense peace and fulfillment.

As a fierce friend, nurturing mother, and adored Granny, Cindy was a warm light in this world, radiating love and kindness. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
