Glen Dale Miller, age 89, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. Born on October 7, 1935, in Lonaconing, Maryland, Glen was the beloved eldest son of Lawrence Winfield and Marabel Green Miller.

Glen lived a life marked by integrity, hard work, and unwavering faith. After graduating from Central High School, he pursued a career as both a contractor and a truck driver—trades that reflected his determination, reliability, and work ethic.

What truly defined Glen, however, was his deep devotion to his faith.  In 1955 Glen was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and for the next 70 years he offered his time to teach others about the bible and volunteered his support for various efforts including work on multiple LDC building projects. His kindness, humility, and steadfast spirit touched countless lives in his community and beyond.

As one of ten children Glen cherished his large family above all. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Jones Miller, his daughter Julie Miller Stewart (Martin), his son Scott Miller (Kris) and his stepdaughter Carol Jones Barnes (Johnny) as well as by his siblings Lois Tow, Margie Rosskamp, Lawrence Miller, John Miller (Stefanie) and Arlen Miller (Virginia). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Dorothy Miller, Marilyn Miller and Debbie Miller. He was a proud grandfather to Tyler Stewart, Cody Stewart, Nicole Bevers, Dalsey Burnett, and Molly Frank and step-grandfather to Shawn Gundotra, Brittney Oldham, Stacy Folsom, Lindsey Polomik, Chelsey Robinson and Karley Thorne. Glen is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great-grandchildren who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Glen was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Miller, as well as siblings Theresa Hutcheson, William Miller, James Miller, and Curlee Miller, by his brothers-in-law Bob Hutcheson, Ron Tow and Bill Rosskamp, sisters-in-law Dorothy Miller and Juanita Miller and by his stepson David Jones.

A memorial service celebrating Glen’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dickson, TN, with the service also available on Zoom. Johnny Barnes will be officiating.

Glen Dale Miller will be remembered for his quiet strength, enduring faith, and the warmth he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family who loved him dearly.
