   Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, May 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Barger officiating. Place of rest will be with her family in the Luther Family Cemetery.
   Visitation with the family will be Monday, May 11, 2015 from 10 am until 2 pm and 4 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday beginning at 10 am until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association  or to American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
    Edna, age 54, died peacefully May 7, 2015 at her home with her family by her side.
   She was a lifelong resident of Dickson County, daughter of Norma Manley Luther and the late Walter Johnson Luther, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Luther.  Edna had the genuine ability to be the boss of her family along with her sweet spirit and constant smile.  She loved life and all that it had to offer her.  She had overcome many health issues in her lifetime but was persistant and determined to get the most out of her life that she could.  Edna was a graduate of Dickson County Senior High School, Class of 1978 and attended Belmont University for two years. She was a former manager of McDonald's and Sonic and was a former clerk at the J and N Market and at times worked with her dad, Walter Luther at the former Luther Texaco in Dickson.  She loved  to shop until she dropped looking at the bling of jewelry and the latest styles of clothing...Edna had pride in herself and loved to look good..... and was often referred to as" Sweet Potato Marshmellow" by her family. She loved collecting and had a vast collection of cow figurines. Edna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dickson.
   Survivors include her loving and dedicated mother; Norma Manley Luther of Dickson,TN, her sisters; Debbie Ruf and her husband, Peter of Dickson,TN and Kim Bartels and her husband, Brad of Nashville,TN, her two nieces and two nephews; Trey, Whitney, Morgan and Brayden, her great nephew; Mason, Several aunts, uncles and cousins and two special aunts and her namesakes; Linda Griffin and Louise Bowker. Longtime friend Rhonda Tucker Atkins and her devoted four legged fury companion, Tulip.
