Mr. Arnett Greer, age 83 of Kingston Springs, died Monday October 1, 2012. Funeral services for Arnett Greer were held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 1 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Anderson and Bro. Dwight Nelson officiating. Burial followed at the Scott Cemetery. Mr. Greer, a retired shop foreman with American Freight and Mid. Tenn. Ford was a lifelong resident of Cheatham County. He was a son of the late Hugh Nesbitt and Katie Belle Wright Greer. He was a member of the Shacklett Church of Christ. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Doric Masonic Lodge in Nashville, Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of the Al Menah Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Allee Hedgepath Greer and a grandson, Jared Redden. Survivors include His Son, Ken Greer of Goodlettsville,TN; Daughter, Pam Redden and her husband, Randy of Burns, TN; Daughter- in- law, Pam Greer; Five Grandchildren, Rob (Stephanie) Greer, Katie (Travis) Shoemaker, Annie Greer, Jeremy Eleazer and Joey Eleazer; Three Great Grandchildren, Abby, Anna, and Houston Greer and One Great Grandson to be born; Brothers, Billy Greer of South Carolina, Jack Greer of Colorado, Edward Greer of Kingston Springs, TN, and Dickie Lee Greer of Petway Community; Sister, Juanita Story of Pegram; Several nieces and nephews, and last but not least, his long time four legged companion, Spot.
