Mr. Jarman, known by family and friends as “Bubba”, age 84, of Slayden, TN died peacefully on August 18, 2019, at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN.
He was born in Slayden, Tennessee, son of the late Ima Willie Jarman, Sr. and Kate Waynick Jarman. He was a tool and die maker and retired from General Motors in the Cadillac division. He proudly served his country in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Palmyra Masonic Lodge #747. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Miller Jarman, his daughter, Katie Trotter, and his brothers and sisters, Edgar Jarman, Carl Jarman, I. W. Jarman, Jr., Corbin Jarman, and Esther Williams.
Survived by his children, Jerry Jarman (Debbie) of Vanleer, TN, Terri (Eddie) Shepherd of Clarksville, TN, Kim (Sam) Owle of Slayden, TN, and Windy Dotson of White Bluff, TN, his 16 grandchildren, his 14 great-grandchildren, his two faithful companions, Bo and Mo, his brothers, Ralph Jarman of Slayden, TN and Tony Jarman of Charlotte, TN, his sisters, Dorothy Miller of Dickson, TN and Ada Leegon of Houston County, and several nieces and nephews.
