A Celebration of Life service for Virginia Ann Seals Goad, age 82 of Nashville, will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Gerald Prior and Tony Langton officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until service time. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Born in Nashville, Virginia was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annie Armstrong Seals. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Wade Goad in December, 2010. She was a member of the former Revival Church in Bordeaux. A licensed minister, Virginia taught a Bible Study at the assisted living where she resided. To keep her mind sharp, she enjoyed playing Mahjong, bingo, and computer games.
Survivors include her children, Breck Goad, Nashville, Tammie Leftwich (Bill), Kingston Springs, and Mark Goad (Brenda), Chapmansboro; her brother, Benny Seals (Marion), Grant, AL; her sister, Vickie Knight, Fort Payne, AL; five grandchildren, Brian Goad (Misty), Sarah Shepherd (Mike), Malachi Goad (Katy), Mark Goad, Jr. (Robbie), and Joanna Goad; three great-grandchildren, Averi, Morgan, and Carter.
