Homegoing services will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the East Dickson Cemetery. Kenneth Wayne Nesbitt was born to Joseph Theodore Nesbitt Sr., and Nella M. Fossie-Nesbitt on July 3, 1952.He was called home in the early afternoon of April 6, 2023.

Born the youngest of three children, Kenneth went to Hampton High School where he played in the band.  He also attended and graduated from Dickson High School in 1969. Married to Brenda Blue in 1970 and to this union two two daughters were born.

He was a member of Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He worked in 
construction for many years. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren. Affectionately known as Tricky “D”, he loved to play spades with his friends.

He 
was preceded in death by his loving parents Joseph T. Nesbitt Sr., and Nella M. Nesbitt, and devoted brothers Thomas M. Nesbitt and Joseph L. Nesbitt.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Brenda Nesbitt, two daughters Tamera N. Nesbitt-Carr (Carlos) of Knoxville, TN, and ChonDelle Nesbitt of Nashville, TN; one step-son, Robert Dewayne Nesbitt (Andria) of Nashville, TN; one brother Joseph T. Nesbitt Jr. (Gloria) of Dickson, TN; grandchildren: Xavier Darden and Armion Hughes of Dickson, TN; Aalyah Hughes of Knoxville, TN; Tatyana Hogan, Tyhara Betty, Andea Nesbitt, Gabriel Tubbs, Jordyn Nesbitt , Quan Newsome, and Shannie Newsome, all of Nashville, TN; Jasmine Nesbitt of Atlanta, GA; Byron Nesbitt of Kentucky; Amiya Nesbitt of Chicago, IL; and six great grandchildren; two aunts, Lois Fossie of Dickson, TN, and Betty Robinson of Ohio; one uncle, Marvin Fossie of Dickson, TN; sister-in-law, Janice Blue of Nashville, TN.  Devoted friends, Mack Nelson, John Conrad, Donald Holt, Raymond Huddleston, John Wayne Holt, Jody and Lynn Brooks, and a host of nieces and nephews.
