A prayer service and Rosary for Mrs. Frances Ellen Bomba, age 92 of Dickson will be conducted Monday October 28, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Father Michael Baltrus officiating.Visitation will be Monday October 28th from 2 until 4 P.M. She is to be laid to rest later in St. Peter’s Cemetery in New York. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
Frances, a retired cafeteria worker for the Hyde Park Central School District, died early Saturday October 26, 2013 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, she was the daughter of the late John Klima and Anna Hornak Klima. She was also preceded in death by her son, Frank “Skip” Bomba; sisters, Mary Bena; Anna Zeleznik; Agnes Kipp; brothers, John Kilma Jr.; Joseph Kilma. She served during WWII in the U.S. Army Women’s Corp as a physical therapy technician and she was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Bomba of Dickson, TN; four sons, Stephen Wasney and wife Jo of Temple, TX; John Wasney and wife Diane of Willow Spring, NC; Thomas Wasney and Patricia Shaughnessy of Poughkeepsie, NY; Jerry Bomba and wife Pat of Dickson, TN; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
