Beverly J. McClurkan, age 80 of Dickson, TN died at home on October 13, 2025. She requested no service to be held. For those desiring, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice.
Mrs. McClurkan was born May 1, 1945 in Dickson, TN. She was the daughter of the late J.D. McClurkan and the late Alda Mai Avriett McClurkan. Beverly received her education in Dickson County through her freshman year. Her family moved during her sophomore year. She graduated as salutatorian of the Antioch High School Class of 1963. Beverly attended college at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. She held a lifetime career with the State of Tennessee as an engineer for the Highway Department. Beverly possessed the true qualities of being a lady. She was generous, considerate, confident, and strong-willed. Beverly loved her family, and she was very family oriented.
Mrs. McClurkan is survived by her stepson, Daniel Wilson; several loving cousins; and a lifetime of close friendships. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Wayne Wilson.

I am saddened by Beverly’s death. She was a dear sweet friend and cousin. I will miss talking to her. She was always concerned for others.
