Lee “Lajuan” Hornbeak, A.K.A. Lee Harvey, age 69 of Dickson, TN passed away on November 14, 2025 in Nashville, TN. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane in Nashville, TN.
He was born on September 19, 1956, to the late Sharon “Shirley” Bell Turner. Later adopted by the late Fred and Mary Lee Hornbeak in Hickman County where he got his education and graduated as salutatorian of his class. After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Army and was later honorably discharged.
Lee worked in industrial business for over 10 years at Teksid in Dickson, TN. He also worked at the Dickson Public Library where he used his computer skills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon Bell, Leon Jenkins, Fred and Mary Lee Hornbeak; son, Shamar Lewis; granddaughter, Shamari Frazier; brother, Anthony Bell Sr.
He leaves to cherish daughter, Genia Fraizer of Dickson, Chenell Dixon of Nashville, and Kimora Hornbeck of Dickson; son, Chase (Natalie) Dixon Sr. of Henry County; grandchildren, Endia, Demartin, Trey, Kenyonese, Shariah, DeShon, ZaTiyah, Raiven, Chase Jr., Jordan, and Kaya; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, LaRosa (Michael) Humble, Tawona Bell-Wilderness; brothers, Malcom Bell, Spencer (Ericka) Bell, and Perry Huddleston.
He was also loved by devoted aunties, Majorie Dobbins, Tishie Mae Ramey, and Joyce “Bay Bay” Stone.
Special friends, Don Wayne Easley, Willie Frazier; devoted cousin, Valerie Ramey; devoted uncle, Torez Sowell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
