Paul Dean Hogan Sr., aged 80, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on December 4, 2025. Born on May 25, 1945, in Pocahontas to Thomas Paul and Virginia Million Hogan, Dean was known for his friendly nature and unwavering support, regardless of his own circumstances. With an incredible sense of humor and a strong work ethic, he rarely missed a day of work. Dean began his career as a sign painter and later transitioned to airplane assembly and painting, a profession he took great pride in.
Dean’s passion for old muscle cars led him to forge lifelong friendships. He cherished his El Camino and Camaro, the latter of which he passed on to his son. Dean will be remembered for the love and kindness he bestowed upon everyone he met, especially his family.
Dean married Dottie L. Norris on March 1, 1968, and together they built a loving family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, his son Paul Dean Hogan Jr., his daughter-in-law Lisa A. Hogan, and his two beloved grandsons, Paul D. Hogan III and Tristan A. Hogan. He also leaves behind his brother LJ Hogan, his wife Janette, and sisters Barbara Barnes, Debbie Brunner and husband Ken.
A celebration of life will be held at the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN, with the date to be determined. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Dean’s life. Paul Dean Hogan Sr. will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
