Mrs. Keena Lewis Johnson, age 50 of Dickson, TN died on January 17, 2026.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 910 E. Walnut Street, Dickson, TN 37055.  Visitation will be held at the Church on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.  Place of rest will be in the East Dickson Cemetery.  There will be a repass at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Keena Lewis-Johnson was born on May 11, 1975, and was a proud graduate of Dickson County High School, Class of 1994.

At an early age, Keena accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 13. She was a faithful and devoted member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she served with humility and dedication as an usher and as a member of the Pastor’s Aide Committee. Keena’s life reflected her deep love for God, her church family, and her servant’s heart.

Keena was a woman of strength, perseverance, and quiet determination. She worked as a manager at People’s Choice, where she was respected for her strong work ethic, leadership, and reliability, working alongside her brother, Robert.

Family was the center of Keena’s life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved daughter. She found joy in family vacations, Sunday gatherings, and the simple moments shared with those she loved most. Her grandchildren, Nilah Johnson and Sommone, were the joy of her heart and brought her immeasurable happiness.

Keena was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lewis Jr., and her daughter, Nye Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Johnson II; her mother, Stephanie Lewis; her mother-in-law, Linda Hemphill (Ernest); her children, Nevaeh Johnson and Roy Johnson III; her beloved grandchildren, Nilah Johnson and Sommone; her siblings, Robert Lewis III, Keisha Ransom (Juan), Kenisha Lewis, and Qiana Easley (Philip); her nieces and nephews, Ramiyah Lewis, Layla Ransom, Juan Ransom Jr., Rahjay Lewis, and Zaya Bryant; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Keena will be remembered for her gentle spirit, infectious laugh, unwavering strength, and the boundless love she poured into her family. Her legacy of faith, grace, and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

“Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into eternal rest.”
