A memorial service is planned for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Ed White officiating. Visitation with the family will take place on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service, also at the Funeral Home.
Robert “Scott” Laidlaw, age 72 of Dickson, passed from this life on January 29, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1953, in Hawthorne, CA, to the late Robert Laidlaw and Elizabeth Bussert.
Survivors include his wife: Coleen Laidlaw of Dickson; his sons: Kristopher Laidlaw (Jackie) of Florida, and Corey Laidlaw (Taylor) of Bellevue; his daughters: Jocelyn Campbell (Jason) of Smyrna and Angie Petty (James) of Dickson; his brother: Stephen Laidlaw (Marilyn) of Oregon; his sisters: Christine Laidlaw and Ruthann Laidlaw, both of California; his brother-in-law: Kerry Obitz (Diane) of Arizona; and 8 grandchildren.
