Marjorie Ann “Margie” Everitt Bloise, age 79 of Dickson – formerly of Olean, New York – passed from this life on February 3, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 10, 1946, in Olean, New York, to the late John Steven Everitt and Helen Louise Hernquist Everitt.
Margie left behind a legacy of boundless compassion. A lifelong homemaker and caregiver, her hands were rarely still, and her heart was always open. She found her greatest purpose in the care of her home, care of her children and grandchildren. She extended her gift of caregiving to the elderly as well.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years in 2012: John R. Bloise; as well as her sons: James V. “Jimmy” Bloise, II and John R. Bloise, Jr.; her 9 siblings; and her grandson: Mark Hudock.
Survivors include her daughter: Tanya Bloise VanOvermeiren of Dickson; her grandchildren: Justin Flicker, Branden Flicker, Ryan Keeny (Alexandria), Michelle Brown (Brad), Mikey VanOvermeiren, Sebastian VanOvermeiren, Savannah VanOvermeiren, and Vanessa Etheridge; ten great-grandchildren; special friends: James and Sylvia McParland, and Ron Mettler, who she considered family; and many nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a burial of her urn beside her husband and graveside service will take place at St. Bonaventure cemetery at a later date.
