Graveside services will be Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 2 PM at Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Pastor Wes Sesler officiating. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday March 18th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.
Ronnie Eugene Covington, Sr., age 73 of Nashville, TN passed away Friday March 6, 2026. Born in Nashville, TN on October 25, 1952 he was the son of the late John Rogan Covington, Jr. and Willie Mai Hargis Covington; and was preceded in death by his brother, Larry David Covington; his sister, Beverly Jo Cunningham. Ronnie had worked as an Engraver and in Graphics for Printing Companies.
Survivors include his children, Heather McCoy (Brent) of Greenbrier, TN, Ronnie Eugene Covington, Jr. of Nashville, TN; brother, Mark Covington (Sandy) of Dickson, TN; 2 grandchildren, Ana Kennon (Gregory), Ashton Gill; 4 step-grandchildren, Thomas “TJ” McCoy (Bre), Hunter McCoy, Haley McCoy, Zarchery McCoy; several great grandchildren.
