Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Charlie Meek will officiate the service. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 4PM to 8PM and on Friday beginning at 11AM until time of service. Burial will follow in the Stuart Cemetery in Burns, TN.
For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital.
Sandra Gail Clifton Anderson, age 72, of Lyles, TN, passed away April 20, 2026.
Sandra was born in Dickson, TN on March 1, 1954, to the late Clarence Clifton and Hazel Bishop Clifton. Sandra worked for many years as a postal carrier for the USPS. Sandra enjoyed traveling when she was able. She loved to work in her garden and grow flowers as well. She loved her animals, especially her fur babies, Rocky, Penelope and Mary. She will be greatly missed by all her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Anderson Sr.
Survivors include her son, Wilton Anderson Jr. (Amy) of Burns, TN, her daughters, Jenny Farrar (Tim) of Brandon, MS, Tammy Wright (Hank) of Dickson, TN, her brothers, Harlan Clifton (Liz) of Dickson, TN, Ray Clifton (Jean) of Dickson, TN, her sister, Joyce Martin of Goodlettsville, TN, grandchildren, Bryan Farrar (Brenna) of Yakima, WA, Beth Farrar of Ridgeland, MS, Taylor Hallbrooks (Jasper) of McEwen, TN, Christopher Wright of Waverly, TN, Noah Anderson of Burns, TN, Luke Anderson of Burns, TN, Emma Anderson of Burns, TN, several nieces and nephews, and her fur babies, Rocky, Penelope, and Mary.
