Steven Cory Dunn, age 46 of Dickson, TN died on April 12, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Michael Spears sharing memories and words of comfort. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 3:00 PM until the time of service. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Alive Hospice Nashville Residence.
Steven was born on October 24, 1979 in Nashville, TN. He was a graduate of Dickson County High School class of 1998. He attended machine tool technology school to become a tool and die maker. Steven loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and spending the day on a beach. He enjoyed sports; baseball, football, golf and basketball were among his favorites. He was known for being a UT Vols fan.
Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Jean Dunn, and Lovell and Joy Story.
Steven is survived by his father, Steve Dunn; his mother, Mona Ann Story Dunn; his son Weston Layne Dunn; a sister, Maleaha Cochran (Josh); aunts and uncles, Terry Dunn (Patsy), Ron Story, Lovetta Holman, Angela Spears (Michael), Monty Story (Donelle); niece, Courtney Cochran; nephews, Boston Cochran, and Jacoby Cochran. Also surviving are several cousins and other extended family members.
