Evelyn Carol Wallace, age 74 of Waverly, TN died on May 1, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Sherwood Cemetery with Pastor Jamie Allen officiating.
Carol was born on August 18, 1951 in Polk County, Florida. Carol was a very loving and giving wife. She had a motherly spirit and sincerely loved her family. She was always willing to help any way she could be assistance. Carol loved the “lake life.” She lived with her husband on Kentucky Lake for 25 years. She will be remembered and missed by her family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Thomas McClain and Hazel L. Thomason McClain; her step-son, Ronald Lee Jones, Jr.; a brother, William Thomas McClain.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Jones; 5 sisters, Jewel Benton of Kentucky, Peggy Carter of Florida, Dottie Gleaton of Florida, Joann Smith of Florida, and Amy McClain of Tennessee. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

Carole was a ray of sunshine in everyone’s day. She loved big and enjoyed each day to the fullest. Life without Carole won’t be the same. I will miss her dearly.
