Shirley Ann Canady Mohon, age 85, of Dickson, TN, passed away on June 2, 2026.
Shirley was born on July 24, 1940, in the Graham community of Hickman County, TN, to the late Clarence Duey Canady and Sara Plunkett Canady. She worked many years in clothing apparel manufacturing. She loved to work in the garden and enjoyed her flowers. She was an avid reader, who loved a good book and quilting. One of her favorite hobbies was researching genealogy. She loved her friends and neighbors and enjoyed being a part of her neighborhood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henry Mohon, her son, Basil Russell, her brothers, Douglas Canady, Ralph Canady, her sisters, Macie Canady, Margaret Canady, Virginia Parker, and Norma Halfacre.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Russell Spencer, Teresa Russell Randall (Paul), her sister, Carol Clahane, grandchildren, Brandy Jenkins, Brian Moon, William Spencer, several great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
